Abu Harairah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Three supplications are accepted, there is no doubt in them (about them being accepted): The supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of his father against his son.”
(Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 27, Hadith 11)
What a beautiful hadith on hope, reflection and patience. Hope for the oppressed, reflection for the traveller for no-one goes anywhere but closer to the destination of Allah, and a warning to exhibit patience with our children. SubhanAllah!
